Ingredients

  • 6-7 pound Ham Fully cooked, Spiral cut
  • ¼ teaspoon Red chili flakes Optional
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger powder
  • 1 can Pineapples  Crushed, chunks or tidbits, 20 oz. can
  • 1 cup Brown sugar

Instructions

  • Place ham in the slow cooker (6 quart or larger).
  • Sprinkle red chili flakes, half the garlic powder, half the ginger powder all over the ham.
  • Then, pour the can of pineapples with the juices over the ham.
  • Sprinkle half the brown sugar on top of the ham. Some of it will fall over the side and that's okay.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours.
  • In the final 30 minutes, sprinkle the remaining garlic powder, ginger powder, brown sugar, red chili flakes (optional) on top of the ham. This gives the ham a nice caramelized crust, color and flavor on top.
  • Cover and continue cooking on low heat.
  • Serve slices of ham with pineapples chunks and juices. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Read all my tips above.
